2011
Conference
The sixth annual meeting of the International Political Economy Society was held November 11-12, 2011 at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. The program is available here.
Conference logistics
CONFERENCE PRESENTATIONS
As you may know, IPES is scheduled in 30 minute blocks. All presentations will be strictly held to a maximum of 12 minutes, with 15 minutes for questions from the floor. This then leaves three minutes to pass from room to room between presentations. Because of the need to keep all three rooms on the same time schedule, time limits are tightly enforced.
CONFERENCE SITE
The conference itself was at the Madison Hilton (http://www.hiltonmadison.com/).
OTHER INFORMATION
For travel arrangements, the nearest airport is the Dane Count Regional Airport (MSN-Dane County). Non-stop flights from Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, Newark are available.
As in the past, the University of Wisconsin is generously providing breakfast and lunch on Friday and Saturday, and dinner on Friday evening. Please plan to attend these meals as they are the primary times for socializing and extended discussions at the conference. We especially encourage you to attend the Friday dinner.
